No, you do not need prior experience. The course is designed for guitarists of all skill levels, and will "meet you where you are," guiding you from the most basic strumming to more advanced techniques. You don't need prior vocal training either. The course will help you discover your best and most authentic singing voice, not teach you to imitate other singers.

Any 6-string guitar that stays in tune will work. One of the course modules covers how to optimize your guitar and accessories to make playing much easier.

The core course materials consist of four learning modules featuring approximately 2 hours of fun and informative videos, along with downloadable PDF guides, chord and lyric sheets for 5 practice songs, plus numerous "extra credit" and bonus videos.  
The time you take with the course depends entirely on your pace. As a "crash course," you can easily watch all the videos in one session, but we recommend completing it one module at a time. Most students complete all the modules within 30 days, then reap lifelong results!
